5 Tablespoon Sugar (taste)
2 Tablespoon raisins
2 tablespoon plant-based butter
Topping- shredded almonds, dates, pistachios, etc.
What you do:
- Peel and grate the carrots. Simmer in Pilk with the cardamom until liquid evaporates.
- Heat Butter in a heavy pan and add the carrot mixture.
- Cook over a gentle flame for 10-15 minutes. Stir in sugar and continue cooking until the halwa turns deep reddish color. Put the toppings and serve hot.
Be ready to get knocked out by the amazing taste & texture.
Pro tip- Don’t fry the grated carrot before adding Pilk otherwise they will turn dark in color. Add Pilk and carrot together in the pan and cook.
